ealizing the fact that curbing fast food consumption isn't a likely scenario for reducing waste, graduate student Andrew Millar instead decided to design a biodegradable package for McDonalds products.
The proposed packaging utilizes recycled pulp paper for the exterior and grease-proof grass paper on the inside. The bag also opens up to be used as a tray.
This solution seems so simple and so absolutely necessary - perhaps it's only a matter of time before fast food giants realize the it.

Emma Hans It's a great idea, especially since they sell so much food per day. I also love the fact that it turns into a tray... environmentally friendly and convenient!
